Watching:
The West Wing (from the beginning again! Started Season 2 while Jaxon napped on Friday)
Saving Mr Banks
Perception
Tumble (anyone else thinking it’s Strictly Come Dancing for Gymnastics?)

Reading:
Providence by Jamie McGuire (The Kindle version is free on Amazon at the moment – bargain!)
If You’re Not The One by Jemma Forte
A Question of Blood by Ian Rankin
More and more articles about breastfeeding and selfies, also reading The Leaky Boob and blogs about goals.

Listening:
Still the radio but decided to take note of the songs.
Lights of Tokyo by The Gentlemen
Love Somebody by Charmaine
You’re Not Alone by Marie Miller (it has a KT Tunstall sort of vibe)
Love Have Come by Mark Schultz (Love the gospel choir coda bit at the end).
Rolling In The Deep by Adele
Feel by Robbie Williams
Greatest Day by Take That

Making:
Thanks to the lovely Judit of Monster Yarns delivering some wool to my house on Thursday I was able to carry on with one of the Christmas presents that I’ve been working on. I’ve also got a ball of Cotton DK and I’m going to attempt to make some dish cloths instead of going out to buy some more. (I love this lilac colour but it also comes in Aqua too which is a lovely colour)

Feeling:
A bit weary but it’s a new week – let’s see how it goes. I’m sort of getting used to the disturbed nights it’s just easier when Jaxon settles during the day so that I can either nap or curl up on the sofa and just not do anything for a bit lol.

Planning:
Still planning blog posts, social media bits as well as to do lists and goals.

Loving:
I loved planning my Mum’s birthday meal.

Oh. I know. Too much choice and too little time! If you watch The American President it’s also written by Aaron Sorkin. It’s almost The West Wing in a bite size chunk. Have you seen The Newsroom? That’s also written by him. Thanks for the comment.

We loved HIMYM, it shows here on a Thursday night and we used to watch it while eating our dinner on Friday evening. Can’t believe it’s finished – did you see the final episodes? What did you think? (With no spoilers in case people haven’t seen it yet).

This is my second time through from the very beginning – my brother bought me the box set on DVD for Christmas a few years back. We’re almost at the end of Season 2 – I’ve decided I watch too much TV then again I have an excuse in that I spent around 3-4 hours breastfeeding each day at the moment (and it’s playing in the background now while I type this!)

Thanks so much for including my post! 🙂 I hope you’re able to get some rest! I’ll admit – one of my biggest worries about becoming a mom some day is losing sleep. I am so moody when I don’t get enough! Is Saving Mr Banks good? I’ve wanted to see it for awhile!

You’re welcome lovely – it was inspiring – especially as I’d fallen so far behind with my own goals lists – it was like a kick in the butt lol. I’m really not a morning person and although I am seriously not liking the middle of the night wake up calls I’m doing okay and often by the time I’ve come too and deal with the first feed of the morning I’m more human than I ever was before – I think your brain kicks into a different gear when you’re a Mum. I really enjoyed Saving Mr Banks – Mary Poppins was one of my favourite films as a kid, I babysat for a family at church a while back and the little girls kept telling me off for singing along! A few weeks back we were watching Monty Python and my foster son commented how my Dad looks remarkably like John Cleese – when I told my brother, he said that our Dad looks more like Mr Banks lol.

Do it! Do it! It’s not complicated – I work on mine through the week so I start compiling the list as I watch movies or TV programs and then add the books closer towards the end of the week. The other categories get filled in as I think of bits or on a Saturday/Sunday ready for the Monday.

It was the first time I saw it and it took me a few attempts to make my way through it between feeds etc. I really liked it – and I liked how actual clips of Mary Poppins is then merged into the film. I walked around singing “A Spoonful of Sugar” the other day and then it merged into “Let’s Go Fly A Kite”
