100 Word Challenge: Week 23

I nearly avoided this one but I think I have something now. You can find the prompt here.

It’s to the tune of O Holy Night which is one of my favourites. The idea is to take a traditional Christmas carol as make the words about dinner. Well my mine is Christmas food rather than dinner. Does that still count?

Just have one more
A choccy for your belly
Don’t worry about the scales
Until New Year

Instead of

O holy night
The stars are brightly shining
It is the dawn of our dear saviours birth.

What do you think?

If you want to hear it you can see Josh Groban sing it here.

It’s one of my favourites but it seems to be avoided for carol services and often done as solos etc ๐Ÿ™‚ Take a listen if you have time – there are various different versions on YouTube.

Sounds like a good plane! I think I might stop counting on Thursday when we go out for our work’s Christmas Lunch (We’re going to a local pub)
