What made you start blogging? How long have you been blogging? Has it always been in the same place?Wordpress, Blogger or other?
In 2008 I’d just come through a 4 year journey to breathe. I had unexplained scar tissue growing in my trachea. I started a Caring Bridge page in 2007 to keep my family and friends updated on the progress of a series of serious surgeries. I feel in love with having a place to express, to write freely and feel so much love and support. After the big surgery that “fixed” me and allowed me to breathe with ease I missed writing and decided it was time to begin a blog! I’ve been blogging ever since at lacylike.com (a Blogger blog)

Do you have a day job or is blogging your main thing?
I have a couple.
I help to design and run yoga studios. I am now at Breathe Los Gatos which is amazing if I do say so myself. I also have an herbal line that I sell from my blog and in the yoga studio. AND my very favorite thing I do for money is health coaching. I run 6 month programs to help people find optimum health and vitality through food and lifestyle. Everything I do is centered on building health and happiness. As I see it we only get one shot at life so we might as well live the one we want, inspired and empowered!

Do you have specific blogs that inspire you?
Totally, I am a blog hopper, little of this, little of that to find inspiration.

Leigh at Curly Girl Design blog is at the top of the list for all things good.

If you could ask me one question (and I answer it) What would it be?

What’s the big dream? The if you could have anything of this life dream… what would you be doing? Or are you already there?

Piece of advice for bloggers out there?

Blog for you. Plain and simple.

In answer to Lacy’s Question

Wow! Big question – I’m not really sure lol. As much as hanging around at home and with friends not doing a job seems like a good idea I think I would get bored. So actually I’d love a job that I enjoy – you know get up in the morning and want to go to work rather than it feel like a chore and like you’d rather do anything but go to work – you know thinks like clean the toilet!

I’m so indecisive with what I want to do I’m surprised that I lasted in my current job over 3 years then again it looks good to new employers – if and when I look for one.

Being my own boss seems like a good idea but at the same time I don’t have an idea or a product to create and sell to be able to pay the bills – i could always go back to college and train to be an accountant – I could then do the accounts/admin stuff that my Mum does.

P.S. Thank you for your comment. 🙂 I can’t wait for those fun milestones of feeling the baby move and the ultrasounds and such. It’s quite an adventure, pregnancy.
