The Great CiN Adventure (Part 1)

Blog Post

So I’m writing this while sitting on the train heading towards London. It’s rather foggy outside but the sun is peeking through. I think today is going to be a good day.

I went to get on the train and it’s funny how people either go for the next train leaving or get on a particular service. Bedford runs both First Capital Connect and East Midlands trains (East Midlands used to be Midland Mainline).

Even though there was a First Capital Connect train behind us that left about 10 minutes before the train I got on because it was an East Midlands fast service (I’m talking like one stop between Bedford and St Pancras) people waited that 10 minutes because they gained in back while on the tracks as such.

And also because EMT are a lot better quality and cleaner than FCC. 😀

Thameslink/FCC are only if you need to get to the in between stations, or you have a restricted ticket from the Tourism Office.

I agree – I had my charger with me and was going to stick my phone on to charge while we were on the train but I had an aisle seat then when I got on FCC to come home it was rubbish!
