At Christmas last year I made a scarf for my Mum, We went shopping about 4 or 5 weeks before Christmas and she was trying on scarves in one of the department stores in MK. She made a comment about not really liking cowls and specifically the style that you wrap around your neck multiple times – well I was having a bit of a freak out as that was exactly what I was making for her. I think in the end the fact that I’d made it out weighed the dislike of the style (or maybe it grew on her I’m not sure!)
For my birthday I was given some gift vouchers for Monster Yarns. It’s now pretty much my first stop for yarn, Judit is super helpful and doesn’t mind when I email her with stupid questions that are probably really easy or something like that! I think we trade tips – social media for knitting tips lol.
