46. What one thing would you most like to achieve by the end of this year?
Create and complete my photography portfolio.
47. What’s your favourite scent?
Fresh bread or cookies
48. Who’s your favourite family member?
That’s hard and kinda bias!! I think my Mum or Dad might be somewhere in top 5 hehe. CJ would also be up there.
49. If you could travel through time, which era would you most like to go to? (it could be in the past or future)
50. If you could go back in time and give one piece of advice to yourself as a child, what would that advice be?
At Middle School and Upper School listen to Kerry – she makes a whole lot of sense.
51. What would you most like to learn to do?
Speak German or French. I am getting more interested in learning something like Japanese Dutch or Finnish. However German or French would be beneficial for my job. (But we do have a supplier in Holland so Dutch could be good)
52. What are your hopes for 2009?
53. Do you keep a diary/journal?
I try to but I struggle with the commit and knowing what to write – I get a bit downhearted of sorts and think why I am writing this – it’s not like anyone is going to read it – but then again sometimes it is good to vent in words because then you feel like it’s escaping and you’re not bottling up that emotion.
54. What’s been your favourite swap on Swap-Bot so far?
Can I pick one I hosted myself? There was birthday swap in April and I had a newbie for a partner but I’d recommend her anyday she was amazing! She told me the parcel was on it’s way and who she sent it with and when she expected it to be here. When it got here I actually had to go next door and collect it because they couldn’t get the package through the door – I went next door and collected the box and realised why they couldn’t get it through the door – The box was rather large and I struggled to carry it and open the door when I got home! I was really over whelmed by this present for my birthday – there were so many bits and pieces in the the box.
55. What’s your favourite colour?
Hey it doesn’t count if you ask the same question twice!
56. What’s your favourite time of year?
I think late spring where it’s just becoming summer or early autumn when its just going cold again.
57. What’s your favourite kind of weather?
I like snow but we have it so rarely here in Bedford that I don’t really have any snow appropriate clothing!
58. Who was your first love?
How do you define first love? There was my first kiss and the first time I said “I love you” and had it reciprocated. I guess my proper relationship that I knew was different from others was back at Upper School. I won’t say his name as this blog is feed directly to Facebook and I don’t want to embarrass him. He was really sweet and he was a christian – my friends used to take the mickey out of him because sometimes he could be a little on the immature side – I think this was partly why we got along because we could mess about and have a laugh but he was quite grown up when he needed to be. We were together 6 months – after we split up he then went out with two of my other friends (one was younger than me by 6 months and the other was older than me by 6 months). I was ok with it at the time but there was one point that I had grown fond of this boy again and wanted to see him happy (his girlfriend at the time wasn’t being exactly very nice to him). He became one of my best friends – I guess by having that relationship in our teens we knew that we could trust each other and that any pain then is settled now.
He’s now still single as far as I know and I would love to see him happy – he’s a chef and I think (then again I could be biased!) he could be the next Jamie Oliver or Gordon Ramsey (minus the swearing) he just needs that break to get out of the kitchen here in Bedford and find that position elsewhere where he can get noticed!
59. What’s your favourite memory from your childhood?
I briefly remember cuddling my brother at the local park on a picnic blanket while my Mum took a photo but I can’t place whether this is earlier than me falling out the door or not.
My favourite memory would have probably been spending the two or three days each summer at my Grandma’s it wasn’t much but it meant that when my brother had his two or three days I would have Mum to myself during the days and then hang out with my Dad when he got back from work.
60. What was your favourite subject at school?
This is a hard question – I used to love Maths but then there was this period of time where I had to repeat the same work over and over because the teachers wouldn’t set me any harder work so I guess that kinda put me off Maths.
I loved Music but again being a musician in a music class was ok but too easy – My teacher at middle school was able to give me extra bits and pieces to do but it wasn’t the same.
61. What’s the most useful thing you’ve ever learnt?
How to use a computer probably I use one every day in some way shape or form – I am trying to improve my handwriting again as it’s got really messy as I am out of practice I use my computer way too much. I love the diary feature on my phone because it’s good for planning but i prefer the physical act of writing something down and being able not to have to put in set times etc.
62. If you could be remembered for one thing, what would it be?
I don’t know really I’d like to say my Musical ability but I’m not really that good in comparsion to some of the musicians out there – I guess though I am still in my Twenties and so I might develop some talent when I’m older that is just fab and makes me amazing hehe.
I think one of the things is that when I do have kids down the way I’d like to be remembered for being a good Mum and taking care of my kid(s).
63. Who would you most like to receive a letter from?
At the moment I’d like to receive from Kewey. I called her on Friday as I left work because I finished early and really missed her (I wished she lived in Bedford or at least we lived closer than an hour or more away).
64. Of all the people you’ve lost touch with over the years, who would you most like to get back in touch with?
Emily Coleman. She was one of my friends at lower school and she came to the same middle school as me but for some reason at short notice she had to pack up and move school. She used to live round the corner from my parents house and occasionally I would see her but then I stopped seeing her. Occasionally I see if i can find her on Facebook but I only have a blurry memory of what she looked like. I remember that she had short brown hair kinda a bob but not (lol) I think she had freckles and she was quite skinny – she was quite good at running.
65. What’s your favourite recipe?
Fairy Cakes but also pasta salad.
My pasta salad I make is simple but yummy and good for BBQs. You boil up as much pasta as you need I usually do about 400g. You then chop up two or three peppers – I go for a red, yellow and green so that you’ve got lots of colour. I then chop up a couple of pepperami (they are snack versions of salami/pepperoni like you get on pizza).
When the pasta is cold you mix the pepperami and peppers into the pasta and add a dollop of mayo (to taste) in and serve. It’s lovely! If theres some left over it works well for pack lunches too.
66. What time did you wake up this morning?
This morning I woke up about 9:30 I think. I spend ages in bed this morning reading – I just didnt want to get out of bed lol
67. Which period of history are you most interested in?
Ancient Egyptians, Romans and Greeks or Tudors.
68. What was your favourite subject at school?
Again with the repeating questions!
69. When were you the happiest you’ve ever been?
70. What’s the biggest surprise (good or bad) that you’ve ever had?
71. Describe yourself in three words?
72. What’s the last DVD you bought?
73. What’s the last CD you bought?
74. Imagine your dream dinner party: which nine people would you invite to join you? (They can be from history or current times, famous or not)
