So I know of a few couples who are getting married in the next few months and so I really could do with a proper nice dress to wear. Well I think I’ve found it – however given the neckline I might have a challenge if I wear it to a winter wedding – but anyhoo how awesome is this dress.
Image belongs to Vivien of Holloway 🙂
It’s made by a company called Vivien of Holloway. You can find their store here and their blog here. Also if you watch Strictly Come Dancing on Sunday during the results show there was a Rock n Roll Number. The dresses that the girl professionals were wearing were made by this company.
That looks gorgeous 🙂
Only thing I would say is that I remember you saying to me that some people are superstitious about the colour green being bad luck for weddings, and I also know that some people think black is superstitious for weddings so if you think that might bother any of the happy couples I wouldn’t wear it. However, don’t forget that there is a SUMMER wedding where you won’t have to worry about a cold neck (hopefully!) for which neither the bride nor groom are superstitious about anything… *ahem*
I know right!!
I’ve heard people being suspicious of green at weddings but didn’t know about black.
My concern about the winter wedding is that I’ll freeze to death and be grumpy lol. The summer wedding shouldn’t be a problem – well if I’m invited lol.
I’ve *never* heard of green being bad luck for a wedding. I’ve only heard that a guest should never where white or cream so as not to compete with the bride.
Love, love, love the dress! I wonder if you could get a black shrug for winter. You know those sorta short sweaters that only go about halfway down your back and have long sleeves? That would be very sassy.
Oy, should never WEAR white or cream not where. (Slinks away embarrassed.)
That’s what I’m thinking 🙂 That way I won’t freeze to death – me and my Mum also joked about having thermal underwear on under the dress lol.
Gorgeous choice! May go and take a look at their dresses myself now. The colours are stunning.
