While on the bus, I decided I’d write the day after so that I can get the knitting done, then write about it. Also, I don’t think I will be writing every day because there will be things to be doing (I know how rude! Have to do chores and go to work etc). So the Day 1 was posted on October 2nd. (Also some days I won’t have a lot to say – other days LOTS).
Stripy Socks
The first pair of Socktober socks are this pair or this sock… I’ve been trying to find out the yarn brand and colourway but it’s proving a challenge – I might need to go to the yarn shop tomorrow for a research trip… or find the label…

This is sock one and I am on the foot of the sock, From the outside of the ball it’s a lot lighter than the inside of the ball so far…. I think I will end up starting the second sock from the outside and then having some really mismatched socks. I guess we will see but for now I’m going back to knitting.
I’ve started a project page over on Ravelry but it’s really empty. Hopefully if I can find out the yarn information, that will help a bit.
