Do you watch the history channel? If so, what’s your favorite channel?
If I do watch the History Channel it’s because my Dad is watching it while we’re at my parents house – other than that I tend to watch shows like Castle, House, Grey’s Anatomy etc.

{Two}
What is your favorite thing to do on a rainy day?
Watch TV, have a DVD fest or read.

{Three}
What does your dream house look like?

rodanthe

Can you imagine being that close to the sea – the house would take alot of upkeep I guess but it would be amazing (This house appears in the film Nights in Rodanthe)

I adore Em and Tim’s apartment – it’s small but perfectly formed. They even appeared on Apartment Therapy.

Then again we own our own house, maybe we can incorporate all these ideas we have into our own home maybe….one day.

{Four}
What state were you born in?
I’m from the UK so I was born in a County. I was born and I still live in Bedfordshire

{Five}
Do you have a change jar? If so, what do you use it for when you get full?
It’s not a jar, it’s a VW campervan money point – I tend to put my 1p and 2p coins in it, I haven’t filled it yet. I’ll let you know what I spend it on when I fill it lol.

{Six}
What’s the first site you look at when you get on the computer?
Facebook or Twitter – at the moment it tends to be one of these or my Gmail when I’m on my phone rather than at my computer.

{Seven}
What’s your favorite breakfast?
I don’t often eat breakfast – if I do it’s muesli with extra raisins or a sausage sandwich. I know I’m either really healthy or really not lol. there doesn’t seem to be an in between!

{Eight}
What was the most memorable trip you’ve been on?
It’s a draw between Amsterdam in 2007 and Turkey in 2005. Amsterdam was my honeymoon with Chris – I wasn’t sure about it because I’d got a stereotypical view and it wasn’t really somewhere I’d thought about going really. But we got there and minus the lack of phrase book for a little while it was amazing and so much fun. I’d love to go back one day. Turkey was in October 2005 – I went with a group from church to run a kid’s club it was amazing and such a great experience.

Nine.
Do you prefer your coffee black or with cream/milk/sugar?
I don’t like coffee really – I occasionally have an iced coffee in which case it’s as it comes with a massive dollop of squirty cream.

Ten.
Have you ever done a professional photo shoot?
Yeah one of those make over do thingies. Me and my Mum went to one in London – the day was lovely, the make over itself was free but it was the photos that  were really expensive. It was a proper girlie day and I was spoilt but as I said it wasn’t something we would do normally and because of the quality of the pictures Mum can use them for business stuff and things like that (my pictures are on Facebook if you want a look)

      The film is so sad! I’d seen the trailer before another DVD and finally got around to buying the DVD and watching it as it was in a sale box. I hadn’t realised it was written by Nicholas Sparks who also wrote The Notebook and Dear John that are both absolute tearjerkers.

      The house is on the OBX in the US so one day I’ll make it out there and stand outside the house hopefully lol. I think I have to start planning the epic “One Day I’ll Make It” tour

      Hello Zara!

      Thank you for commenting 🙂 I know it’s amazing right! It would be awesome but I’d have to emigrate to the US first lol. I don’t know if you can build that close to the sea in the UK.

    I love the photo with the map – classic!

    This Wee Bit Wednesday is cool – it is interesting reading about what others think/do/like!

      I’m one of those tourists who always has a guide or a map or something like that – I even have a map of Bedford in my wallet – i’ve lived here 25 years and yet I have it there lol.

      By the wonder of the internet, the house called “Serendipity” was moved because of coastline erosion it was almost completely in the sea. The building was condemned 🙁

      There are new owners who are trying to restore it but it’s been relocated off the beach and into the village of Rodanthe rather than being somewhere up the coast from there.

      You can see more info here

    Oh, when I crave a really not-good-for-me breakfast – it is a sausage biscuit – major fat and cholesterol – and taste! And I thought that house was amazing on the inside too for the movie Nights in Rodanthe.

    • Hannie says:

      A sausage biscuit is like a burger but made of sausage meat right?

      i agree about the house – it is fab!
