187: 15 Day Challenge – July 5th

15DayChallenge

Joining with Sarah from Life of Love for the 15 Day Challenge.

If you could have dinner with any five people, who would they be?

I was working on 5 separate meals rather than one with five people.

My Grandma, she passed away following a stroke in 2008 – I miss her bucket loads. Things happen in life and I want to call her and tell her but she won’t be there at the end of the phone. I’d like to tell about Our Sidekick and his crazy adventures and what he’s been up to and things like that. I think she would have been supportive of it but that’s just my opinion – would she have been supportive?

Kewey – I haven’t seen her since the beginning of May when we all met up to celebrate my birthday. She’s not been well recently and it means coming down to visit or us going us to visit is a little more complicated. (Twitter)

My Mum – It would be a proper sit down meal where we’re not charging off to the next thing. My Mum has had a tough week and could really do with a pampering evening I think.

Ruby is from Australia and so her coming for dinner might be a bit of a challenge but hopefully it will happen one day. Whether it’s when she makes it to the UK or when I make it to Australia. (Twitter/Blog)

Becca – this one is more possible – Becca is one of my blog friends. She lives in Norfolk which is about an hour and a half away so it’s not completely impossible to meet up but always seems to be a bit of a challenge to be in the same place at the same time. (Twitter/Blog)

Such a great post! It’d definitely be nice to just sit down to a dinner with my mom & not worry about rushing!

Do it! Get your hubby/significant other to watch the kids and go have fun 🙂 Then again if she lives in another state or something it might be a bit more of a challenge lol.

Go meet your blog friend!! 🙂

I met my best blog friend this past December. Thing is… I live in PA and she lives in Louisiana. We had been talking through blogging/emailing for YEARS and finally I was all “I’m flying you up here!” And I did. She stayed with me for a week and it was a blast! I’m hoping to go visit her this winter. Fingers crossed!

It’s a little easier said that done. Seeing Becca isn’t so hard as we can meet in London or one of us drives to the other but Ruby is in Australia and so it’s a lot of money to go there or for her to come here. Maybe it’ll happen one day. For now I don’t think it will.
