193: 15 Day Challenge – July 11th

15DayChallenge

Joining with Sarah from Life of Love for the 15 Day Challenge.

What’s one thing that you would never change about yourself?

It would probably be my eyes however I am short-sighted and have an astigmatism in one eye – so I wouldn’t change how they look etc but I’d fix the short-sightedness – then again how weird would I look without my glases. I wear them every day, first thing I do before I get out of bed – put my glasses on. Last thing before I go to sleep I take them off. I have fallen asleep in front of the TV with my glasses on – now that was weird waking up and being able to see when normally I’d wake up and everything be blurry!

Me with Glasses (well kinda!)

Curled up in the sofa. Killing time waiting for #oursidekick's contact time to finish.

To be honest, I didn’t recognise the picture of you without glasses on your blog at first look. I wondered why you had a picture of somebody else next to the “About Me” section! Never seen a picture of you without glasses, and you had them on each time I saw you when you stayed with us, so it really is true that you take them off and put them on as the last things and first things at night.

I’d have probably fallen down the stairs without them on lol. Have to take the stairs really slowly if I don’t have my glasses on – either that or hope that I don’t miss a step!

haha, I’m a bit blind too, but I almost never wear my glasses in pictures. I’ve never been fond of how they look on me and I don’t like the frames resting on my nose. I’m grateful for the invention of glasses though, they are quite useful when you need to see faraway things!

I would “not” wear them but I have the tendency to squint because I can’t see lol. I have to tell myself to relax and not try to focus on the camera just look in the general direction and smile.

HAHA! I’ve done the same thing with falling asleep and waking up with corrective lenses on (I had contacts in when I did it). I was so out of it when I woke up, I thought maybe God had decided to grant me a miracle and fix my eyesight. HAHAH! Still makes me laugh thinking about how tired I must have been to think that.

Oh dear! Falling asleep with your contacts in is not good. I remember leaving one of my old lenses on the side over night and it was all curled up and dehydrated. Then again I never really got on with my contact lenses – I literally wore them for special occasions or performances at university.
