Lands End to John O'Groats
Bike

At the beginning of September, Chris and I are heading down to Land’s End in Cornwall so that he can head off on his 1000 mile adventure across the country. He’s starting in Land’s End, Cornwall and heading for John O’Groats in the Scottish Highlands. He’s doing it to raise money and awareness for The Fountain (Bedford) project that he is director of.

He’s looking for sponsorship from both individuals and businesses.

Although Chris is doing the hard work and peddling his bike he has a support team of me and his Dad. I’m hoping to blog about it on our way but that’s something that I need to get sorted out lol.

Chris is looking forward to the trip and as he says on The Fountain’s Site “please sponsor me, not for my sake, but for the sake of The Fountain, which is so desperately needed to support the young people in Bedford, especially in the climate of so many cutbacks to existing support provision”.

You can sponsor Chris on his MyDonate page. There is a short link as well – http://bit.ly/le2jog.

Does Chris or any of his support team still need a place to stay while passing through the West Midlands area? If so, we are still happy to help.

Hello Ian! Yes he does and He will be in touch to confirm that, that’s still okay 🙂 He’s in the process of planning the route and booking places to stay along the route. I think we get to you around the 9th or 10th but I will double check. Thank you so so so so so much!

P.s. It’ll either be me and Chris or Chris and his Dad but at the moment it depends on which day we reach you as to which it’ll be – I promise we’re all housetrained and will behave ourselves lol.

That sounds fine, nothing planned for those dates yet.
Glad to hear you are all house trained, otherwise you’d be in with the gerbil! Our spare room has a double bed and some floor space where an airbed can be put up, so either of the combinations of people should be no problem.
We are away from tomorrow until 29th July and prob won’t be checking email while on holiday, so any messages in that time will be answered when we get back (just so you know we’re not ignoring you).
