Yesterday an email from Visual.ly pinged into my inbox – normally I delete or skip over it but this time I had a look. In there, there was a link to this visualisation. I really like this one – really handy for people like me who have a couple of American cook books.
I would still get stupidly confused. I don’t have any American cook books, but there are so many American food blogs online! Also, what on earth is ‘one stick of butter’?! Nightmare.
“One stick of butter” I’m not sure – I’ll ask my colleague at work to weigh it next time she’s baking (she lives in NY state).
I have a copy of The Joy of Cooking by Irma Rambauer (not sure how to spell her surname doh!)
