This Weekend I watched about six episodes of Doctor Who (including The Water of Mars episode which freaked me out the first time round!). Also watched Numbers, Bones (mainly to catch up with the ones my Mum is recording for me!) and some other shows.
This Weekend I went to the Bedford Book Connections book club. We met at The Ship so following Thursday I was prepared that I’d end up smelling smokey again. But actually once I’d caught the bus and walked from town to Mums I just had a faint whiff instead of right in your face smokey-ness. At the Book Club we discussed Dune by Frank Herbert and then talked about the aims of the group and things like that.
This Weekend I well we went out for Sunday lunch with friends from church. I had Spaghetti and Meatballs – It was yummy but could have done with more meatballs or less sauce. Chris had a roast dinner from the carvery and Our Sidekick had a cheese burger. He actually wanted the tower burger but we said it was too much (both too much food and too much money!)
This Weekend I realised that since about December I’ve taught three people to crochet (or refreshed) and helped one person to learn to knit. It’s so exciting.
