The One with The Diary

Anyway so I’m thinking the “greenest” way to keep a diary would be to use my phone – however that bugs me every meeting has to have a specific end time and notes for that day have to be an all day event or have a time assigned to them. So a paper diary is the way forward for me at the moment.

I had a Filofax for a little while but it was a mini size or something like that and I struggled to fit everything into it (especially at the weekend with all the church bits and stuff like that!)

I’m thinking about going back to one of these – surely it’s greener and more environmentally friendly to use a filofax rather than buy a new diary every year.

I used to have one, but it was so bulky and always had bits of paper sticking out of things. Now I’m used to my phone, I’m not sure I could go back, mainly because it’s one less thing to remember. But you’re right, it still has its limitations.

I’ve been trying to use my phone since I got a semi decent Nokia a few years ago but even then it’s limitations annoy me lol.

So for now I’m sticking with paper hehe.

I’ve tried just using my phone a couple times but things don’t normally pan out. I’m actually only using Google Calendar right now with nothing in the phone or on paper, but I’ve reached a stage in life where that seems to be all I need.

If you want a green paper option though, I’m sure you could find one made with recyclable paper. And the binder form makes it easy to recycle the pages once you’re done.

I have got my phone set to sync with Google but again that has the whole issue of finishing times.

I’ve not quite got a green option at the moment but the diary is 18 months ish rather than a 12 month option so thats good 🙂
