It’s to the tune of O Holy Night which is one of my favourites. The idea is to take a traditional Christmas carol as make the words about dinner. Well my mine is Christmas food rather than dinner. Does that still count?
Just have one more
A choccy for your belly
Don’t worry about the scales
Until New Year
Instead of
O holy night
The stars are brightly shining
It is the dawn of our dear saviours birth.
What do you think?
If you want to hear it you can see Josh Groban sing it here.
Hiya, short and sweet. Nothing wrong with that ๐
Merry Christmas ๐
Merry Christmas Anna – Thank you for your comment ๐
I’m not familiar with that carol but I loved the words you came up with.
It’s one of my favourites but it seems to be avoided for carol services and often done as solos etc ๐ Take a listen if you have time – there are various different versions on YouTube.
Not counting the calories until New Year works well for me! Lol G x
Sounds like a good plane! I think I might stop counting on Thursday when we go out for our work’s Christmas Lunch (We’re going to a local pub)
Wonderful & I love the clips & music. I’m so glad you had a go because it is all about stretching yourself. It was well worth the effort believe me!!
Hey Julia ๐ Thank you for stopping by ๐ It was so hard! It definitely was a stretch this time!! Will look out for the next prompt.
great job! ๐
