I’ve recently been watching lots of YouTube videos about planners and often about Midori Traveler’s Notebooks. They are a similar idea to a Filofax in at you have the basic binder and then you add your inserts or notebooks to create the sections you need. It’s a little easier than a Filofax in the sense that you can use multiple notebooks which then hold them self together rather than lots of loose leaf sheets which can get lost easily.
Again similar to Filofax they seem a little on the steep side to get started. I have found a “pretend” Midori on eBay which is on it’s way to me but I would quite like a proper nice black or tan one rather than the pink one I’ve purchased. With it being a Midori Style notebook rather than an actual Midori it’s a fraction of the price while I see how it works for me, there was a post on Facebook of a cardboard version made for temporary use to see how the user got on with it. I need to go and see if the Malt Wheaties box in the kitchen is finished with so I can cut it up. (That was still in use but I have a piece of cardboard that was used for Amazon packaging.
In theory, all the images above link to their original homes. Be sure to visit The Mintgreen Polkadot – it could be a new favourite!
It’s August and I’m joining a few of my blogger friends to blog every day this month, at least around here you’ll be able to find all my posts under BEDIA. Be sure to check out their blogs too.
