Veg Out

When I was at Upper School I decided to give up meat for Lent. I think it was following the year where I gave up chocolate and may have got addicted to the food colouring and E numbers in Skittles.

Anyhoo, I am posting about this because October is National Vegetarian Month (Okay someone is bound to be clever and point out that in the UK it’s actually in March, however there are people from all over the world joining in this month.)

So each Friday of October I am going to be Vegetarian – now I missed the first Friday because I only read about Elycia’s challenge today. But here we go – vegetarian for the Friday’s of the month. This could be a challenge.

I will keep you posted on what happens – I have 7 minutes left of MacBook battery and really should sleep so night night one and all I will let you know how day 1 goes.

Enjoy :)) I was veggie for 6 months this year, only stopped as I was a bit disorganised and not getting proper nutrients. I have never really been a big meat eater, certainly not eating things like steak or chops or ribs or drumsticks (yeuk when you can see bone and stringy things) I love Tesco spicy beanburgers with mango chutney :)) x
