With the boys being at the residential this weekend, I pretty much had free range of the TV once Jaxon had gone to bed. I’ve been working my way through Grey’s Anatomy again, I’m up to Izzy having surgery for her tumour and is working on Meredith’s wedding. I watched Strictly Come Dancing and Doctor Who on Saturday evening, then when Chris was home on Sunday we watched Downton Abbey. Oh my goodness – okay if you haven’t seen it then be aware when they give the warning out at the beginning about the upsetting scenes heed the warning and take note.
I finished Wild Nights by Phoebe Smith but haven’t really read anything else since, quite a few nights recently I’ve got into bed and pretty much gone straight to sleep – especially on the nights when it was Jaxon and I because I knew I was going to be up in the night and up in the morning around 6am! I bought the Kindle version of The Life-Changing Magic of Tidying by Marie Kondo
I’ve been watching lots of vlogs on YouTube by Anna (aka Mrs Brimbles) and Ali Brown so have been working on journalling more. Also I’ve fallen in love with the Midori Traveller’s Notebook system and so have been playing and tweaking that. I’ve also been setting up ideas for a Christmas Planner. I’ve ended up with a set of printables by Mrs Brimbles and an A5 Paperchase folder that I bought a while ago. I did have a brief look on eBay for an A5 Filofax in something Christmassy but then didn’t feel like it was worth it – you know buying a Filofax just for Christmas Planning.
This time it was my turn to write a meal plan. I pretty much rearranged the last two weeks into something looking interesting lol. Trying to do low syn choices is really hard some days especially when I’ve charged round like crazy sorting out Jaxon and then have to start cooking dinner.
