I have totally gone off my story – 2669 words into it and I have gone of it – I even wrote an intro to a new story this afternoon on my mobile. I totalled it up about 500 words!!!! scary ain’t it
Let’s Dance Part Two
So now I am home – I have paper all around me as I am supposed to be folding news sheets – don’t panic I will get on with it.
Chris came in and told me he needed the computer so I had to disappear and entertain myself. So I have got a job and on my second attempt to write this post I am once again going to run outta time! Going to wrap Part Two of Karen’s Present before Steve arrives to go to Karen’s birthday Party. Wahoooo!
Linkin Park For Parents
My Friend Martyn loves rock music and so really likes Linkin Park. Even his Mum Wendy has taken to listening to Linkin Park well at least this track! She got very excited about it yesterday and just had to play it to us!
Let’s Dance
This morning I did my second morning in the office at church. I then went to my interview at the PCT (Primary Care Trust) it went ok but I didn’t get it (Mainly because apparently I didn’t make very much eye contact and everyone was better than me lol).
Anyhoo I went to my Mum’s to do the cleaning, I had to dash off for a little while at 3pm but then I came back to finish. I have been waiting for Mum to go out so that I could do the bits around her office (she sometimes gets distracted when I am around now lol.)
At half 4 I got a phone call – I have a job!!!!!! I need to go for now but I will be back – for now let’s do the victory dance!!!!!!
Now I wish I had fingers like this

So as I said either yesterday or silly o’clock this morning I often blog hop so here are my travels today:
My Best Friend Calls Me Martha
In my travels I also found this website – Ethics Girls
I am now off to design a CD cover for Bowie’s CD Mix – she has really bad Tonsilitus and feels pants so spends most of the day on MSN trying to chill out.
The Bear Necessaties
Ok I think I spelt it wrong oops! So having been inspired by Little Wanda and her Ladybug, I went off to find my hedgehog which was easier said that done – I am not sure where it went so I found my bear – it was a present from Natalie when I left Wickes last year – it was a thank you for all the times I helped her with work. I realised that the bear doesn’t have a name :(.
The bear loves Swap-Bot and making friend over the internet.
I don’t drink tea but Chris does so Bear made him a cup of tea – he enjoyed it! It’s his day off today but he’s having to do college work (ok this is stupid it’s so grey and dreary outside and looks like it is going to seriously rain – I think I need to put the lights on soon!)
I took this next one on the way to Doobie’s this morning. (Not surprising it was getting dark – it’s now raining not just Cats and Dogs but Lions and Tigers too! Theres low rumble like thunder but it’s totally the wrong type of weather for thunder and lighting!)
I have more random images which are posted below – I will get to commenting on them but not just at the moment lol.
I pledge……..
Unfortunately I am about half way through my Christmas shopping and so I think two items are bought the rest are handmade though.
My Mums and Dads were the bought presents, my Dad-In-Law, Mum-in-law and Sister-in-law’s are all handmade. I am still yet to get my brothers and Chris’s.
So I pledge to buy handmade presents for my Brother and my Husband.
My brother Richard is 19, he still lives at home and due to the fact that he has a full time job he tends to spend his money on DVD’s and Computer games. He’s going to be the hardest to sort. Any suggestions? I thought about a Beanie hat but I can’t knit very well and crochet is a little beyond me – I still haven’t got the hang of it. (He doesn’t normal dress like this – this was about a week or so befor me and Chris got married Mum wanted him to try on his suit and he wouldn’t be nice about it – He really didn’t want to wear it at all!) Might look on Etsy for this one!
This is Chris my husband – ok so he doesn’t normally pose like this for photos. (I prefer the one he had taken in Edinburgh – he was pulling faces and pretending the English were invading or something like that). He is like my brother loves computers – mainly things like webpages and writing them from scratch – so it’s a brain ache to get him presents. He likes technology but then again he doesnt because of how quick it goes out of date. (Currently I am kicking myself repeatedly you see the iPhone comes out on Friday – if I had waited i think 4 months rather than getting my contract in June I could have got it this weekend and got a new iPod and phone in one but I didn’t and now I feel like a dipstick!)
My Little Wanda (said with an Ozzie lilt)
OK so the Ozzie Lilt make Wonder i think hehe
anyhoo
so I wrote about Little Wanda’s blog the other day and commented on it. Little did I know till I got a message from her that this had happened (that underlined bit of text is a link to my blog! How fab is that!!!)
Ok so simple things please simple minds but I don’t think I have ever had a link to my blog on someone else’s page unless I have commented and then someone stumbled across it! I feel it is important to celebrate other peoples blogs – they spend quite a long time typing away at their pc laptop or mac and some of these don’t get read. I can’t remember if I posted my game but I think I did. You pick a blog that you read and the pick an entry – you read the entry and comments then pick a link to another blog from the comments you leave them a comment and move on to the next. And as I am sure my Mum said if you dont have something nice to say dont say it – so dont go to someone’s blog and be nasty to them – it’s their opinion and they are entitled to it whether you agree or disagree. (I also love the Ladybird!!!!!! It was a present from Colleen aka DarkSkullMistress42 – there was going to be a link to her blog but the link isn’t working so I can’t put it here 🙁 )
You got a friend
So when ever i hear this song or Somewhere over the rainbow (either the Hawaii sounding one or Eva) I remember Kewey – she is my best friend in the universe. I know that whatever she is upto if I have problems she will drop stuff or take time to listen. Last weekend Chris dropped everything to go and see Tom (his friend from uni) Chris spent like 15 minutes trying to justify his actions – He didn’t need to because I know that if it had been Hannah and I had to make the choice I would have been in the car to Mansfield either Friday night or Saturday morning just like Chris did (he would have gone Friday but we had youth and Tom had work).
Part Two of my HUGE YAWN!
So today was as bad as yesterday. It was a little busier but I still didn’t know what to do some of the time.
I was nearly ready to go home at 4pm What was I supposed to do for half an hour – I’d already read all the magazines that were in reception! What does the normal girl find to do all day? lol
Anyhoo so I sort the mail and at 4:25pm head to the HR lady and say I’m off now going to take the post on my way out on the door – so that by the time I get back to reception it’s just about 4:28 and by the time I get to security it’s half past. Thats my normal routine. Well I go to see HR Lady and she says she you 2moro – I respond along the lines of erm no when I arrived on Friday I was told it was only for two days while Reception girlie was away. Well that caused a stink and I upset HR Lady and Guilia (Julia to you and me) at BlueArrow because I had organised stuff for the rest of the week having been told that I was only in for two days – hello my interview tomorrow has much more relevance to what I want to do than working as an admin assistant/receptionist at Argos.
I got to Mum’s and got a phone call from Guilia who seriously peeved at me. So I explained what had happened and that actually no one was clear or what I was doing and for how long so when it was “confirmed” to me on Friday I decided ok maybe Guilia had the wrong end of the stick and it was just for two days. I would hate to see the bitchy emails flying backwards and forwards at the moment lol.
My Dad phoned me and chatted about allsorts – also asked if I wanted a Modern Apprentaship in Engineering and sticking up telephone poles lol.
So the plan for 2moro is that I will be floating around in the morning and going to this interview/trail run 2moro afternoon. Then I think heading for cell in the evening I think.
Chris keeps shoving a Clementine in my direction – can I go get some Bananas from Tesco please they are soooo much nicer.
I did however write a lot for NaNoWriMo I just need to type it up and count my words lol
YAWN!
Sorry while I recover from the boredom that is work. Ok this job has such a tiny amount of novelty I think I lost it about 10am this morning.
On Friday I got a phone call asking me if I wanted a temp admin job with the possibility of going on to permanent. I said ok and headed for Argos Distribution at Marsh Leys (This is an OK drive in the middle of the afternoon it’s murder in rush hour). I arrived at the centre and was sent up to HR. I stood in Reception where I was told by the HR peep that I would be on reception (this was hiccup 1 – I have like zero receptionist experience – maybe a tiny bit at Wickes on the CSD). So I sit on reception with the normal girl who shows me what I would be doing etc. She then says how she’s away for two days this week and that must be what I’m covering. (Hiccup 2).
So today I show up which is cool, however I lost my interview at Vision Express because of work at Argos (my interview was meant to be Friday afternoon – I got it moved so that I could go to Argos, the lady phoned both Friday afternoon and again today – Today’s message was if I don’t hear from you today I will presume you are no longer interested – I couldn’t get back to the lady while the shop was still open and so lost my interview 🙁
Today was the dunkin!
So minus the inability I seem to have of getting up when I am supposed today has been a good day.
Chris went to see Tom yesterday in Ipswich, He’s been having a really pants time and needed to see a friendly face so Chris dropped everything (ok the height of our exciting day was going to be a walk to the charity shop with a bag of his old clothes but it was dropped anyway). Chris spent ages trying to justify why he was dropping our plans and why he had to go and it had be yesterday and no other day. I told him to shut up and that I understood if Kewey was having trouble like Tom has just had I would have dropped everything and been in the car or the next train to Mansfield without fail. (Even My Mum agreed when I told her).
I went into town in the morning with my Mum to try and get her a new phone. It took about an hour and a half – she thought she knew which one she wanted but then it went all bottoms up when they said the one she wanted was going to cost her nearly £300!!! Yeh I know alot for a phone! Anyway so she changed her mind decided she was getting the same as me, she was then told she’d have to come back when the next delivery came in on Monday or Wednesday. (I suggested why didn’t she just have my phone and then get a different one – ok we have done it in the past when she just started using a mobile (she got my one, I got a new phone – she didn’t go for it anyway and so is waiting for a new phone).
Anyway so me and Mum went via my house to get my laptop and then into Simply Food for lunch (I love it the same niceness as the normal store but just outside of town with free parking it’s great!). We got posh fish cakes for tea which were very nice but I don’t think I would have them again.
So I hung out at my parents – I didn’t fancy being alone all day and most of the evening. I did some admin for Mum which meant I got to sit in front of the TV with my Dad lol.
This morning I led worship which was good but I was so nervous – I had a bit of a bad start to the day as Chris hadn’t reset the time on the alarm and so it went off at 9:30am I was supposed to be in the church at 9:15am – thank goodness for living next door to the church.
Me and Chris went out for lunch after church which was lovely. It was a little bit busy but it was good all the same.
Then at 4pm I had a band practice for the Baptism where Two of my Girlies got baptised! Yay!
Bex and Ruby are in my cell group and I love them to bits! They both got baptised today and I had the responsibility of singing in the worship band in the service. I need to go now because it’s 11:30 and it would be good to have some sleep lol
What is going on?!?!
So I have been trying to update my word count on NaNoWriMo for most of the afternoon – obviously it keeps changing as I write more but I haven’t been able to get on the website since about 6pm GMT.
So my word count at the moment is 1179 words and counting!
Wow!
Chris went to a meeting yesterday – it was all the Youth Leaders from around the county. So there was Haywood who is at Woodside Church, Liz at Bromham Baptist and various others.
Anyway Chris was talking about how the fact that we house share with the church office – which can be kinda annoying. I was sat working and a lady got out of a van across the street with a clipboard and this amazing bunch of flowers – I thought ooh they are nice, then saw her cross over the road towards our house and thought ok thats strange – THEN THE DOORBELL RANG!!!!! The bunch of flowers were for me and Chris from Liz the Youth Worker at Bromham. How cool is that! I then phoned her to say Thank You and left a seriously garbled message on her answerphone – so hoping it makes some kind of sense lol. Trying to decide whether to email the church office and ask for e-mail address just to leave a clearer message that might make sense. (Chris caught me a few minutes ago singing along to my mp3 player (ipod died and so I am having to use my phone!) and staring at the flowers – he stood laughing at me how rude!!!) Right must do work!
First Day well Morning
So today is my first official as (voluntary) Temp Admin for the church. So why am I blogging about it? I wanted to share with you while I could lol. Currently only a small number of people know that the church office is now officially manned on a Friday rather than the voicemail (I can’t say annoying as Chris did the message lol). So I am here at my office desk watching Mum’s walk back from dropping their kids off round the corner at the local school. The sun is shining and all I can smell is furniture polish or toilet cleaner as the cleaning lady has just been in.
Chris keeps hovering – I think he is concerned I don’t have enough to do or something. I am managing to find things to do between phonecalls (well ok I have only had two so far one from the Pastor a.k.a The Gibb and one from a Lady who is borrowing the Mini Bus this afternoon).
Anyhoo I am going to work and look important lol.
R.I.P Kettle
Our kettle is dying! I need to find our wedding present one – will include a photo soon it’s colour changing i think or it’s just pink as it boils! Its fabitastic!

oh bottoms
So this blog was going to be all about my shopping trip to Milton Keynes with my Mum, firstly we’ll start with the bad news and then have the good.
I got home and checked my emails – I’ve been dropped from one of the swaps that I was really looking forward to – I am a little down but the girl who’s running it has every right to boot me off because having read the description I am actually in the wrong. I wrote her a quick message so that she knew I wasn’t a loser – then I realised it fell out my gob too fast and that I had hit send too soon and I probably seemed really horrible and sour about it so I sent her a quick message (Poor girl would have been sick to death of me! lol) just explaining that I totally understood and I was sorry if I came across rude, mean or horrible because I don’t think I am any of them (Check with Laura, Serena or Kewey I am sure they will prove me either correct or wrong lol)
Any hoo the good bits
1. NaNoWriMo and NaBloPoMo start today wahey!!!! (NaNoWriMo – National Novel Writing Month and NaBloPoMo – National Blog Posting Month). So I have lots of writing to do!!!!
2. I went shopping with my Mum and my brother – well kinda my brother went off and looked at computer games – I got him a little catalogue thing about the PS3 so he was chuffed – I really don’t have the money to afford the real thing but I think he liked it all the same lol.
3. I got a whole new outfit – I would take a photo but I would just look grumpy probably semi to do with the bad news but then again probably because I am hungry and have a job interview at 3.
4. I bought some new slippers which are lovely!!!! They are pink and fluffy – just like Ugg Boots kinda thing – but more nicer lol.
NaNoWriMo/College
So today I am starting my project at college, it’s going to be interesting thats for sure – lots of screen prints of different things and I get to be really creative in the process lol – pretend I have my own business and don’t just swap my creations over Swap-bot. I am writing this entry at hi-speed as I have about 2 minutes left till the end of the session and I might not have time later as we are having an alternative halloween party at church this evening.
NaNoWriMo starts in erm……… 11 hours i think something like that. I can start writing from Midnight tonight – I want to start now I have lots of ideas. i just have to hit about 1667 words a day to reach the target by the end of November. Who’s with me?!?!?!?
Am I Mad?
Last night I signed up to take part in NaNoWriMo – am I slightly mad? If I get a full time job where am I going to find the time in November to write a novel too!!!!!!
Also I am adding a little update for those of you who are worried lol. I have I think about 6 interviews over the next fortnight so hopefully that will result in something! I had one yesterday (yes a sunday!) at an Architects firm out near Maulden. They are looking for an Office Manager/PA – tbh I don’t think I have enough experience compared to some of the people that they had, Nick (who interviewed me) told me that he got over 200 CV’s and some were uni leavers like me and others had got 20 years of experience – now the only reason I might get employed is because I was willing to be paid the minimum (I won’t post the numbers but I might have fallen off my chair if I hadn’t been so close to the desk lol).
Reading Blogs – Follow the Trail
Ok so I love reading blogs. I blame it on the fact that my Mum is so nosey and so it must be hereditary. I love following the trail to read new blogs.
This trail goes like this, pick a blog, read a couple of their posts then pick someone who comnSo what you do is pick a blog and read a couple of their posts you then pick someone who commented on Blog 1 and read some posts on their blog. (As I go along ones I like I add to my RSS reader). This was todays trail:
and so it goes on – I could be here all day hopping from one blog to the next. It’s cool because it’s a way to read blogs that you might not normally come across.

Laura’s Birthday…..oh and Graduation
These are my angels. Hannah, Laura and Serena. This week we’ve had both Laura’s Birthday and Graduation.
Thursday
So the festivities of sorts lol started Thursday Morning with our graduation – photos can be found here. (And if you get bored while at Facebook add me!)
Anyway, after lots ff posing for different photos. We headed off with our respective families to further celebrations. Mum, Dad, Chris and I headed to The Orchard for lunch to find that Serena was there too. About 5 minutes after we had sat down Hannah and family arrived for lunch too. They had been heading to Frankie and Benny’s but the queue was too long.
After lunch Chris and me went home to nurse our over stuffed tummys. I got my bits together ready for my first night out for the first time in ages. I went to the Hotel where the girlies were staying. We went out to Bankers Draft, followed by Time Out. There was a trip to a supermarket in the middle as Laura was feeling hungry. So we grabbed something “sensible” like a sandwich rather than a chicken burger from a greasy takeout.
I dropped the girlies back at the hotel about 2am and was at home in bed by 2:30am – but could not sleep – my ears were ringing really loudly (at one point they were ringing so loud I couldn’t actually hear myself breathing lol). I fell asleep about 3:30 and woke up at 10am the following morning – I didn’t actually feel tired until the following evening and for most of Saturday.
Friday
Friday started at a bit of a rush I seemed to have left everything to the last minute lol. I was trying to address envelopes for stuff that I had sold on PlayTrade. They needed to go sooner rather than later as I get a rating for the service provided etc. So they were addressed and ready to go – just neeed to get to the post office.
I sorted everything out, while having several conversations with Laura and Hannah. We were so busy sorting out the plans that I lost the opportunity to go to town. I went to meet the girlies at the supermarket and when I got there they weren’t there yet so I went to look at the books, I could have spent sooooo much money -I need a job so that I can buy some books (and still find the time to read them lol!)
Hannah then phoned me to tell me that they were there – but I missed her call because I was too busy reading one of the books that I didn’t notice my phone ringing in my bag. I then walked around the end of the shelf and there were my girlies. We grabbed some sandwiches and a drink and headed for the Embankment to enjoy our picnic. I know British October and we had a picnic lol. The four of us sat on one of the benches and we were so close together that we kept each other warm and were sorted for the time we were there. We took some silly photos which included me sitting on Laura’s lap leaning backwards over her shoulder to try and take a picture of us four altogether.

We grabbed some sandwiches and a drink and headed for the Embankment to enjoy our picnic – Yes I know British October and we had a picnic lol. The four of us sat on one of the benches together. This meant that we could squished together and keep each other warm and were sorted for the time we were there. We took some silly photos. One of which included me sitting on Laura’s lap to try and take a picture of us four altogether.
24/7 Scavenger Hunt
So today was our annual (or termly I can never remember) Scavenger Hunt. It was great fun. Last Year Me, Lilliput and Xtina won against the whole of the youth group. This year on the other hand was different, it’s half term at the moment so some people are on holiday or busy or working.
So we had ten people and went for two teams (originally teams were meant to be 4’s but it made more sense to extend this to two teams of five). I decided that I would join in.
I came second!!!!!!!!!!! Yup, so against two teams of 5, Team Hannah came second! lol
It was funny thought standing down Goldington Road, trying to take my picture including different signs, postbox, traffic lights or different bits.
Then I had to go and get different ideas – I was given a slight advantage as I had my bike whereas everyone else had to do it on foot (but I didn’t have a bike lock so I still couldn’t do some of the items). Will post some of my random photos when I have managed to get my phone to talk to my laptop – it keeps having the hiccups lol.
I got back to the church at 4ish (we started at 3pm and I had nearly finished what I could do so headed back to the church (and home!). I went with Chris to Lidl, so that we could get pizzas for the youth group – It’s always so busy in there – they can have all 5 tills open and still it would be heaving. Actually come to think of it Tescos have something like 40 tills and yet they still have massive queues sometimes.
Anyway so I go off to Lidls and come back, get my last few bits together and put them in the Creche so that Chris can mark sheets and make sure that the piles don’t get messed up.
Chris asked me to cook the Pizzas, chips and garlic bread for the young people – which was easier said that done I kept catching my fingers on the doors or the hot trays. My fingers don’t hurt as much now but when I came home about 7ish they were really sore.
A funky monkey!
I love this monkey!!!!!!!! It reminds me so much of the ones, Me and Chris saw at the Artis (Amsterdam Zoo).
OK so that sounds like we saw cuddly monkeys in the Zoo rather than actual Monkeys lol. The Artis Zoo has posters all round the city and they have little cuddly monkeys like this with flowers on their heads where they would have hair.
Well at the gate – we got there and it was kinda too expensive to actually go into the Zoo so thats on the list for next holiday to Holland.
If you like this monkey, check out Paperkitty’s Blog she makes all sorts of other bits and pieces too.
Yarnology – Is it real?! Yeh it is!
Hey
Ok so I am joining in with a competition set by Girl On The Rocks. The Author of the Blog is a.k.a as Karrie – and she rocks lol!
So here are my entries – from the ones I’ve looked at I think mine aren’t very good but I am trying to be more positive now.
So I am going to do my best. There are 6 balls of chunky wool that was bought to make a scarf from that me and my Mum saw in a shop.
I bought one ball of the stripy one and made scarf no 1 which was good. It had a random pattern most of the way along until about 3/4 of the way through where the pattern settled and I had stripes for about 10 rows then it scattered again and went patterned. The blue is actually one of my Mum’s balls I think – She made me a scarf a few years ago and that was the ball that was left over – I love the scarf as it is really really soft.
Last but not least the little lilac ball is what is left of the lilac that was bought to make a cushion cover – I have several squares made ready to sew together I just need to get the other squares finished so that I can sew them together!
ok so should we not go to the supermarket
Apparently we have no food in the house – and that a Cup-A-Soup is filling enough for Chris but not for me. OK
Well if we have no food in the cupboard would it make sense to go to the supermarket and get some food as it’s kind of a neccersary part of sustaining live – isn’t it or am I wrong?
Now both me and Chris get seriously cranky when we have low blood sugar. RAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!
Super annoyed lol. I’m hungry and a cupasoup is really not inviting – I could do pasta because we do have some of that oh yeah so we do have food in the cupboard its just food that doesnt work for Chris.
Had a phone call this morning – I didn’t get the job at fitness first. I was going to be a receptionist – I probably didn’t look the part – the existing receptionists were quite skinny, equal tan (probably bottled or bed rather than natural lol), nice done nails (mine are all broken because they have got really weak, and i’ve been playing guitar more).
Anyway onwards and upwards!
Bobble Jesus from Kellypuffs
This is Kellypuffs picture. I have her blog delivered to my RSS reader and love reading it – this post was is about two weeks old and I’ve finally got to catching up on reading all the blog posts I get delivered. You’d think being unemployed would give me the time to get these posts read. Do you think it would be ok for the youth leader’s wife to have a bobble Jesus on her dashboard? lol
Shortest Job I’ve Ever Held
I think today I held the shortest job I’ve ever had. I went for till training at 2pm and was sacked at 4:45 – it wasn’t even my fault!!!
The guy who did my interview was a bit slow on the uptake anyway. I explained that I was doing an IT course and that I can’t do weekends really as I do alot of youth work especially Sundays because of church commitments. He obviously paid no attention what so ever as firstly he puts me down for all of Sunday morning, I checked my diary and I was already booked to do 11-1 at College tomorrow for my IT Course. I asked were the shifts set or did they rotate. Well that was the straw that broke the camel’s back so to speak. He said I couldn’t “keep” the job and so that was it. The shortest job I’ve ever held.
I am now at home having phoned both Rymans and Laura Ashley where I had other interviews last week. Both have turned me down. I feel so rubbish.
Thankfully the handy thing about being in this shared house meant that when a friend arrive they were able to give me a hug.
It will definitely take something to beat this shortest job ever!
Hannah’s Job Search: Dance Party!

Here’s the next part of my job search. I was planning to have a lie in till quarter past 10 and then get up and head for town – this kinda worked. Budgens phoned me at 10am asked if I could attend an interview this afternoon – so into the diary it went interview at 3pm. I get out of bed and get dressed and head for my Interview at Laura Ashley – this was reasonably smooth till I got to town and realised I hadn’t taken my nail varnish off – it wasn’t the same colour and it wasn’t even complete it was very chipped from playing guitar. So I rush to the corner shop opposite Laura Ashley’s which isn’t a corner shop because it’s in the middle of a run of shops lol. They had nail varnish but no cotton balls – I was looking at trying to take my nail varnish off with cotton buds (the things you clean your ears out with) or tissues (I won’t tell you my other options!!!). So I sit on the brick wall outside Debenhams and at high speed proceed to try and take my nail varnish off. WHY DID I PICK BLACK NAIL VARNISH!!!!!!!! Black nail varnish has this habit of dying your nails so they look an off grey colour lol. I head cross the road for my interview – was a bit flustered having panicked about the nail varnish but I was good was determined to try and seem as eager as possible. The lady who was interviewing me was running late so I sat admiring light fittings and cushions. Years ago the Royal Mail had a TV advert with the saying “I saw this and thought of you” – I spotted a funky cushion in Laura Ashley and I could see it be very Serena. I would have got it for her Christmas present or ready for her birthday but it was quite a lot for what it was! After this interview I headed to Mum’s to get the cleaning done, so that the rest of the week is free to do my IT course and cleaning at church. I had lunch with Mum at about 2ish and we watched Heroes from two weeks ago I think. It’s the Six Months Ago episode where the Japanese guy goes back to save Charlie who works in a diner – it was so sweet. I then went off to interview no 2 – at Budgens. Not a problem I thought lets just get through the interview – that would have been fine but the guy barely spoke any english and so I had to keep asking him to repeat questions and had to keep pausing and really thinking about what he was saying before answering. Interview 3 was miles better – the lady keep apologising because it was busy in Rymans and so she was trying to serve as well as get ready for my interview. The interview was cool it started as a normal interview and at one point we were talking about Dragon’s Den and then got onto the subject of X Factor – we both just watch the auditions to see who think they can sing. When it comes down to it interview 3 was soooo much better – it was very friendly and so much more chilled. I asked Chris if he could design me a funky layout that would be individual to my own site and here we have it!!!!!!!! Both yesterday and today I’ve had a horrible headache, yesterday it was across my temples so if my pulse got faster my head started thumping. I went to bed last night feeling really rotten and had to ask Chris to get me a glass of water and a paracetamol as I got to the top of the stairs and felt like my head was going to explode or I was going to faint (and then break my neck falling down the stairs). The last time I had a headache like that was when I was about 16 and got migraines – I know this wasn’t a migraine how I used to have them because I didn’t get flashing lights or a random spot in front of my eyes. Anyhoo so Chris went downstairs and I curled up in bed. That was about 2am ish. I woke up at 7:30 ish in a flap, I’ve got no idea what I was worried about but something made me panic. I sat up too quickly and the headache was still there. This morning when I went to clean the windows in the church the headache had moved to the middle of head at the top (somewhere near my mengines – this is the area of the brain that swells when you have Menigitis). I managed to survive for about an hour then decided I needed to come and lay down. Chris came in after the boys band rehearsal and said my eyes looked “all glassy” – i guess as I am a little achey but awake and typing this I’m not dying of meningitis or anything similar. I’ve spend the last hour or so trying to get The Rock website designed – Chris has been trying to design various different websites but he struggles with the concepts sometimes so I am his “muse” but I do the work too lol. I’ve decided that I am asking Father Christmas for this here and lots of ribbons and fabric and bits and bobs like that, basically lots of sewing goodies. The challenge will be finding somewhere to store all those beautiful sewing goodies. I have my own cupboard, which is under the stairs, but there’s already two guitars in there, which are taking up most of the space. I would sort the cupboard but I would rather just keep my bits scattered over the floor. Doing sewing projects often has my stuff spread across the floor. Chris and I keep talking about when we have a proper place of our own rather than our sort of house share. We also talk about our dream house but that’s going to a whole mile down the road! I would like a dishwasher, and if possible have the drier nearer the washing machine. Currently I have to go from the kitchen thru our little living room, take a right into the kitchen under the stairs, unlock the door while carrying the basket of washing and then move the BBQ out of the way to get to the drier – if it’s a Tuesday I don’t even attempt washing until the evening which is annoying because I can’t hang it out till the following morning). Erm have my own room where I can pin sketches of ideas to the wall, spread fabric over the floor and tables, have “my” sewing machine out permanently on the table, be able to just spread would be so nice. I could just close the door on it and hang out in the living room. Well for the time being we just keep dreaming. The pricing of housing has gone so stupid in the UK that I heard it was cheaper to immigrate to Florida and buy a house there! I would prefer New York or Illinois I think. Chicago would be cool because it snows loads apparently. But then again after a while it would lose the novelty. The thing about Bedford is we either get no snow and the rest of the country gets loads or we get loads just like the rest of the country. The last time we had snow, I drove across town to get to a lecture – it was SO cold it was not funny especially as so many people didn’t show up for the lecture. Even one of the girls came from Luton to Bedford it’s like 30 minutes away easily. Hey Chris and I have been having a few rough days. Last night it came to a head and we had it out – he very nearly slept on the sofa bed (his choice not mine! Not good I know). Anyhoo it’s in the past. So this morning we both slept in till midday – dont ask me how I managed it – I havent slept that late since moving house (apart from when I was ill back in June and Wednesday after Tube Challenge Attempt One). So we fall out of bed and I go off do my thing in the little living room and Chris goes and does his thing. At about 2ish I go through and start annoying Chris cos I was kinda bored, he then dragged me into the garden to run round in circles and jump up and down and use some energy lol. I then decide that I want to go to Wilko’s and try and find some stickers – I really struggled I found a Crayola kit to make your own stickers or the stickers that you would put on the front of cards but thats not what I am looking for. 🙁 I need some stickers for a swap I’m taking part in on Swap-Bot. Chris and I went into town and headed for Wilkos to look for stickers, I find some other craft bits that i decide I am going to get, i also looked at other bits and pieces, Chris then said about looking at the sewing bits and was there any bits i needed – the only major thing I could do with is fabric scissors. I found some that were small enough for my sewing box but big enough to do the job. I was taking a mental note of which bits were mine so that I could pay at the till – I know we are married and share the wealth etc but I’m so used to paying my way and stuff. Chris paid for all the craft bits I was buying today. How Sweet. I love him muchlie. UPDATE: So I wrapped Mum’s handbag at hispeed this morning before her and Dad picked me and Chris up to head for London. She loved the bag!!!!!! She thought it was great!!! YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!! On Saturday I think it was I got a text from Phil asking if I wanted to go Clubbing on Monday – I was a bit unsure cos i’m not really keen on clubbing, i don’t really enjoy it – mainly cos I prefer rock or indie to dance, DnB or techno music. So yesterday I was sat doing work but was less and less enthused about doing it. Kewey was sat at her house similarly unenthused about doing work (so she was posting bulletins on MySpace!). I asked Kewey about going cinema cos I wanted to do something but clubbing still wasn’t taking my fancy – while this is all happening Phil has signed onto messenger and was trying his best to convince me to go to. In the end it worked and then we set about convincing Kewey to come to. So at 10pm we met in Bankers it was sooooooo dead! By 11ish we were in Oxygen (after dashing back to Kewey’s house and sitting at traffic lights next to The Gibb and Mrs Gibb!) Anyhoo We had a great night! Certainly not what I’d normally have had planned for my Monday night! Kewey got on with Martyn, James and Phil really well which was very cool. When we were in Oxygen, we bumped into Sarah and Spinney who were dressed as Mouseketeers, Phil made a comment about having his photo taken with them because they were hot, Kewey played “Wingman” in a way and went and asked them nicely and Phil had his photo taken with them. I think James felt left out and so had to jump into the picture lol!!! On our way back through town to head home, Phil decided that he’d take a nap on the flower beds near Boots. I might have pushed him into the flower bed and then flopped in a giggly heap on the floor! Well it was certainly one way to end the Monday Night and welcome in Tuesday Morning (which was about two hours old by that point I think!).Hannah’s Job Search: My Today
